Loss of curvature: The spine has natural curves. Lordosis occurs naturally in the neck and low back where the spine curves naturally forward a bit. Loss of normal lordosis is most common in the neck and it usually occurs die to constant bending forward or osteoarthritis in the cervical vertebrae.
