Eye exam: You need a good eye exam looking specifically for dry eyes and uncorrected hyperopia or glasses or contacts that are incorrectly powered. If you are around 40 years old then presbyopia could also cause these symptoms.

Dry eye : You may have dry eyes. Artificial tears are a good start.
