Not in the US: Oral polio vaccines are no longer used in the United States. Injected polio is favored since it is less likely to produce vaccine related paralysis, and consists of a series of four injections typically administered at 2, 4 and 6 months with a booster on or after the 4th birthday. Oral drops are primarily used in developing countries where polio is still prevalent.
