Why do you ask?: The estimates of GFR provided on today's lab reports are subscientific. The nonsense is showcased by the fact that there's an adjustment for race "because Black people are more muscular." GFR can be low because you're doing strength training, taking ibuprofen, or are seriously sick with an illness that can be managed. Don't look for home remedies. Find the cause from a scientific practitioner.
