Insurance: Yes, if you meet the requirements. You need to have a BMI over 40 if you have no medical problems, and a BMI over 35 if you have at least two obesity related medical problems. You also have to check with your particular insurance plan, as some people have exclusion for weight loss surgery on their plan.
