A member asked:

How do infrared rays affect a woman during pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infrared/pregnancy: As with most medications and in fact sources of infrared radiation (microwave ovens, etc.) there are few trials with what is called, "evidence based medicine" which have been done for obvious reasons in pregnancy. Therefore, since it is unknown as to the effects in pregnancy, it is best to avoid close contact with sources of this kind of radiation while pregnant.
