Very effective : Latanoprost, a prostaglandin analogue, is in a class of highly effective antiglaucoma medications that can lower introcular pressure up to 50% (25-35%). At once daily dosing, it is also very convenient and more easily to adhere to. It's generic & less expensive. It does have some unusual side effects though: lash growth, iris color change (some) & periocular skin darkening.
