Some side effects: Known side effects of this glaucoma medication are burning, stinging, redness, elongation of the eye lashes, reversible darkening of the skin around the eye and irreversible darkening of the iris. In some rare occasions, it can exacerbate certain types of inflammation in the eye. In general, this is a very safe and well tolerated medication.
