Yes, absolutely!: Etanercept(Enbrel (etanercept)) is an excellent biologic medication that helps block the chemical messenger named tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-alpha)that cells involved in the immune system make.By blocking TNF-alpha,the inflammation generated by the "confused" autoimmune white blood cells is blocked and can effectively put JRA/JIA active disease to sleep. I prescribe Enbrel (etanercept) in kids as young as 3 months old
