Seroquel (quetiapine): A second generation antipsychotic by astra zeneca company, used to treat psychoses & bipolar do & as supplement in treating depression. It has sedative effect , can cause weight gain & other metabolic changes. Comes in regular release form (quetiapine) & extended release form (seroquel-xr).
