Go back on?: You may need to be on it longer. I would see a gastroenterologist who may want to place a camera in your esophagus and stomach to see if you have bad reflux, gastritis, ulcer, etc that may need additional treatment. Some people need to be on anti-ulcer meds for life. Others may have an infection that if treated will improve everything. Some will require surgery. See your doctor.
