25 mg: Quillivany is essentially a form of methylphenidate. So the doses would be equivalent.

It's ONCE A DAY only: The prescriber will handle the proper dose for once a day in kids over 6 who can't handle pills. Never try to alternate between different drugs thinking you can figure out an equivalent. Training is needed to handle these things. Talk to the child's doctors.

25 mg = 25 mg: Quillivant concentration is 25 mg /5 cc, so 5 cc is the equivalent of 25 mg of Ritalin (methylphenidate) LA. Both are sustained released formulations.

Complex: The same amount of methylphenidate is present in each, so the answer is 25 mg. But there are complexities. First, absorption and therefore bioavailability are dfferent. Medical experience says liquid is more quickly and completely absorbed. Second, the mechanisms of delay in release are different, but probably not fully predictable in effect. Practically, they may be very different. See the doc.
