A member asked:

What causes a toddler to throw up mucus and how can we get ours to stop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mucus : a toddler vomiting mucous can happen for any number of reasons. Did it start all of a sudden and has been going on a few days? Or has he always been vomiting? He may be sick with an upper respiratory infection. Or he may have gastroesophageal reflux. Your doctor should be able to figure out what's causing his vomiting and treat him appropriately.
