Persistent cough: A typical upper respiratory viral infection (or cold) typically can last for up to 7-10 days. Beyond this timeframe, it is reasonable to consider other possibilities such as bacterial bronchitis, pneumonia, sinus infection etc. Recommend seeing a physician if this continues as more information would be needed to guide further advice/treatment.
