Speak with spouse.: Clearly your husband is being treated for an infection. It is important that the two of you discuss what infection he is being treated for. (Or another possible reason is that it he is a contact of someone who has an infection). Bottom line - the two of you need to discuss this. Asking an unknown provider on-line to guess about the reason isn't in your best interest. Take care.
