I have a patch of tiny reddish bumps on my right inner thigh, near my groin. not itchy/raised/uncomfortable. does this need immediate attention?

Yes: Need to make sure this is not Herpes Infection, which can be treated effectively and you do not have to remain uncomfortable. There are 2 different types of herpes Infection I am concerned about.
It may not be infection at all and it can be allergic reaction to something or Dermatitis.
All in all you need examination.
