Symptoms: Symptoms of pregnancy does not necessarily mean pregnancy. Wait until your next expected period and if you miss it then do a preg test.

Unlikely: If the pt is negative, you are not pregnant. Very occasionally, the pt is false negative, so if you are unsure, repeat the test after a week.

A 17-year-old female asked:
Can you be pregnant even if you had your period? I had my period but I'm having pregnancy symptoms

Unlikely: It's unlikely you're pregnant if you had a period. Now, if you had a light amount of bleeding (spotting), then it is possible. You're best off getting an at home pregnancy test to know for sure.
