A member asked:

I spoke with a dr early in regards to the matter of having 2 cycles in one month, my concern was which cycle to calcualate from. this is not normal for me i have rather normal periods?

Irregular ovulation: causes this. Possible reasons, include perimenopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome, or thyroid issues. Weight gain and loss, also can be related. Neither are likely related to a normal period, due to lack of ovulation.
