This : This is something that needs to be evaluated further. Stress can play a role but other things should be considered as well. Depending on your age, your doctor may want to do an endometrial (uterine) biopsy. A pap needs to be done if not done in the past year and a pelvic ultrasound may be necessary to rule out fibroids (benigh tumor of the uterus). A much more detailed history will be needed prior to your doctor doing any diagnostic testing and work up. All the best.
