I am concerned due to my period being now 4 months late, and i have taken pregnancy tests. they have come out negative. i normally have irregular periods since i was in my early 20's, but never late ones?

I would consult with an OBGYN. If testing confirms you are not pregnant many would treat you with hormones to bring on menses. It will likely be heavy. They might also keep you on the pill for a cycle or two to pace your system. Good luck.
