Neck Pain: The straightened curvature in your neck on X-ray is a sign of pain and muscle spasm. You may be helped with a soft neck collar to relieve some of the spasm, muscle relaxants and pain medications like ibuprofen. Physical therapy also would be appropriate. Work with your doctor and your X-ray soon will be normal again.
