Headaches & Ear Pain: Sometimes the occipital nerve such as the lesser or third occipital nerve can cause ear pain that is associated with headaches. Are the headaches in the back of your head and rarely go past the top of your head? Any issues with your neck? May need a med to calm down irritation to the occipital nerve (short course oral steroids, Toradol, or neuropathic meds).
