Infection is likely: These symptoms indeed suggest an infection. Depending on STD risks (new partner, partner with other partners, etc) the possibilities include herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas, bacterial vaginosis, yeast, and others. See a doctor ASAP.
