Osteomyelitis: I understand that you may feel that you have been on this antibiotic therapy for too long. I do not know the specifics of your case but my guess would be that your Dr is concerned that your foot wound infection has spread to your bone, this is called osteomyelitis. This would require more intense and prolonged antibiotic treatment. Get well soon!
