Yes: It seems that you have a very legitimate reason for the use of these very strong but very effective medications! As long as you are being monitored closely by your prescribing physician your use and benefit from these medications is apprioate!!

Concerns: Not fully clear re causation which needs diagnosis. Better meds for nerve pain available such as Cymbalta, Gralise, Lyrica (pregabalin). And for pain, might try Butrans patch or tramadol ER. TALK TO NEUROLOGIST
