Maybe a rest: It sounds like you have already checked things out pretty thoroughly. Occasional breakthrough bleeding/irregular bleeding is a side effect of continuous treatment. If you have stopped the pill briefly (3 or 4 days) and the problem has not resolved then it might be necessary to give it a break for a month or two. Alternatively, higher doses for a while might also work. Talk to your doctor.
