A member asked:

Can laparoscopy results be wrong? no endometriosis, but ultrasound showing no results. severe pain, constant bleeding, blood clots, bc not helping.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Endometriosis Dx.: The gold standard for determining the presence of Endometriosis is a laparoscopy sighting. However, sometimes the implants are difficult to see if they do not look like typical "powder burns"( blue black). An experienced GYN laparoscopist is essential to make that determination. Ask your GYN MD in lieu of a 2nd laparoscopy to consider the trial of a GnRh Agonist Rx for Endometriosis.
