Yes, but....: HIV/AIDS and some of the drugs used to treat it can cause a sensory peripheral neuropathy. However, this is not an early symptom. Also, there are many other conditions that can cause peripheral neuropathy. Diabetes is a very common cause. If you have these symptoms, you need to seek medical care to determine why. A negative HIV home test doesn't provide sufficient information.
