SeveralPossibilities: A small lump just above the navel could be a supra umbilical hernia, a lipoma or a cyst. Most lumps under the skin are not malignant. The fact that it's been there for 2 years without enlarging is evidence for it's benign nature. If the lump is tiny and not enlarging you may not have to do anything. If uncertain, have a physician examen the lump.
