Allergic reaction: You most likely are having an allergic reaction to the product. OTC Benedryl can help with the itching. If the reaction is causing tongue swelling, trouble breathing, or total body hives you need to be seen immediately.

Allergy to Hair DYE: You are having an allergic reaction to the hair dye, most probabely a chemical caused ppd(paraphenylenediamine) I advice that you consult your Family Doctor or a Dermatologist to get treated. Treatment will most prbabely require short course of Oral Steroids&something like Bendrly for itching&may or may not need topical steroid Consult an Allergist and don't use the hair dye as it will happen agai

Contact dermatitis: This is most likely a contact dermatitis, similar to a reaction to poison ivy. Steroid cream is the mainstay for this. You can start with non-prescription hydrocortisone cream, and if that's not helping, a stronger prescription might be needed. Antihistamines are not likely to provide much relief. Good luck.

Allergic reaction: WOuld wash it out as much as possible and depending on the length of your hair may consider cutting it short. Oral or topical steroids along with antihistamines will help. Look at the package and try to identify the exact chemical that may be at issue to avoid it in the future.
