A member asked:

I keep on feeling hungry and have a feeling that there is some heat inside my stomach and throat... is this a sign of me having to deworm my stomach?

Parasite unlikely: The incidence of parasitic disease (with worms) is exceedingly low in the US. One possible alternate explanation for these symptoms could be that of peptic ulcer disease or gastroesophageal reflux.

Hungry/ stomach heat: May have reflux/ gastritis consider prevecid and ranitidine , would also check for h pylori a bacteria that lives in the stomach that can cause reflux/gastritis as you will neeed antibiotics to treat that . Check for thyroid function as well as that can affect stomach/intestine function and rarely gallbladder or pancreas ( pancreas if you drink alcohol) . Follow up with your doctor /urgent care
