Unreliable test: These tests are not reliable, whether weakly or strongly positive. Ask your doctor or clinic about more accurate testing, especailly a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). If you have gonorrhea, the color intensity of the test says nothing at all about how long you have been infected. Onset of symptoms or when you had a high risk sexual exposure are the only ways to know.
