It is the isomer of citalopram (celexa), originally introduced as a refined form of Celexa with fewer adverse effects. Daily doses range from 10 mg. To 40 mg. , average 20mg. Main side-effects involve headaches & upset stomach temporarily. Start with lowest dose 5mg.
