Right sided pain...: If ultrasound is negative for gallstones, there still could be a problem with the gallbladder. Sometimes CCK is administered during HIDA scan to calculate gallbladder ejection fraction and determine if there is a functional problem with the gallbladder. Is the pain associated with eating? Other organs in the right abdomen include the kidney and liver. Kidney stones can cause right flank pain.
