Sure: Selenium is a mineral that is considered a trace element that is used by the thyroid gland in active thyroid hormone production. No more than 200mcg 2-3 times a day should be taken. That is less than one milligram a day. However, more than just Selenium alone is needed to ensure healthy thyroid gland function. It always helps to have a full thyroid function lab panel checked on a regular basis.
