Itchy areas: Armpits and groin are areas of friction and that coupled with warmth or sweating, often leads to itching. Also yeast infections are seen in these areas on occasion but redness would be associated with the itch. Avoid tight fitting clothing to see if it itching improves. Other causes of itching are overactive thyroid,liver and kidney disease.
