No.: Follicular neoplasms are common and slow growing ( most all cancers are slow growing) Things like this get scheduled "end of the month" because they aren't going anywhere before then. They do not "blow up" or spread in the interim. Sore throat usually usually viral but occasionally bacterial - such as strep. Sore throat should be treated independently of the neoplasm.
