I'm confused because i keep being told panic attacks and anxiety can't do anything to me but other doctors say that it can cause broken heart syndrome?

Neither.: Neither causes broken heart syndrome because there is no such clinical diagnosis. Panic Attacks and General Anxiety are both miserable to experience and often respond well to medications and therapy.
