Fresh, organic: Juicing enhances nutrition. Besides vitamins & minerals, juicing makes enzymes more available for assimulation. If you use a juice extractor, the fiber will be removed with the pulp. However, there are also whole food juicers. Taking juices off the shelf - does not have the same benefits and fresh, organic juicing.

Fiber: When juicing, it depends on if the fiber is removed in the process or not. If juicing is just the blending of the foods, then no nutrition is lose. If however, the peels are removed, then so may be the fiber and the nutrition that goes along with the fiber in the particular food. Fiber is important to control blood sugar, and colon health.
