Small possibility: Single short period is not likely to be a sign of menopause. Menopause usually occurs around the age of 50 but can occur earlier. Usually the periods will occur irregularly for several months, may be heavier than normal or last longer than normal. Track your periods accurately. If the changes persist see your physician.
