Unknown.: There are some mushrooms with anti-cancer properties, but none are good enough to treat cancer by themselves. I'm not sure which mushroom you are referring to, as there are many Indian mushrooms. In general, be aware that mushrooms can be very toxic, so don't take any unless you are absolutely sure they are safe. Thousands of people die from mushroom poisoning every year.
