Fluids, rest: Fluids and rest are still central. You can use diphenhydramine and acetaminophen for symptoms. Hope that helps.

See below: Your bodies immune system will cure you. Antibiotics do not work for viral infections like a cold. Echinacea and supplements like Zinc lozenges appear safe to use in pregnancy, but there is no conclusive evidence they are effective. In studies that did show effectiveness the benefit was slight. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe for fever and pain. Don't use aspirin or ibuprofen type medications.
