Skipped cycle: Its not uncommon to miss a period after age 35. It doesn't mean you're heading to menopause just yet. Menopause is defined as cessation of periods for at least one year without any other cause. After 35 you may not ovulate every month and this may lead to a skipped menses or irregular menses.
