Bowel Movement: Mucous once in awhile means little. So don't worry. If you were to start having mucous all the time, with pain and bleeding it could be a concern. At this point take a deep breath and enjoy being 17, within reason.

May not be worry: May be totally benign. Mucous is often seen from the recutm in irritable bowel syndrome. My advice is to consult your physician to discuss and see him if it continues and you are concerned.
