Gallbladder tests: There are not any reliable blood tests for gallbladder disease at present. Current approaches are anatomical (like ultrasound) and functional (cholecystokinin hormone stimulation). Your symptoms suggest gallbladder-related pain so a stimulation test, perhaps with radiographic dye to demonstrate dysfunctional emptying, might be next. You might also avoid fatty foods!
