Pelvic infection : Unprotected sex could expose you to pregnancy, UTI or a pelvic infection. You will need a doctor's examination to rule out a pelvic infection. Onset of fever and worsening abdominal cramps is an indication to go to the ER if you can't see your pediatrician or gynecologist ASAP.
