Control: An ablation is performed to create damage! But it's done in a controlled manner to very specific areas in the lining of your heart - where the rhythm is transmitted, not to the pump (muscle) itself. There is no limit, but if you're not getting relief after 4, there may be no point in continuing to #5. When something continues to fail, it's time to try something different.
