VitD supplementation: Critically low vitamin D levels are linked with Rickets, Cardiovascular disease, Osteoporosis, Anemia and other illnesses. Optimal vitamin D levels range from 60-80ng. For a level this low, it would be best to take over the counter vitamin D3 10,000 iu a day. Eating oily fish and taking Omega 3 Fish oil capsules twice a day also help. Have your doctor monitor your vitamin D levels regularly.
