period 4 days late - normally 28 day cycle. neg preg test on day of missed period. immense cramping with bowel movements?

Pregnancy test: Periods can come a little bit late if you happen to have a mistimed ovulation. Try a pregnancy test again in a week to see if you're pregnant. Sometimes you can just miss a period altogether, which would not necessarily be abnormal as long as it does not keep recurring.
