My gallbladder needs to come out. i am terrified of general anaesthetic. can i request spinal or epidural anaesthetic so i can be awake for procedure?

Unlikely : Thanks for your question! Given the nature of that particular surgery, I don't think any surgeon or anesthesiologist would approve of anything but general anesthesia. Wish I had better news! Good luck!
